Mistrzostwo, puchar oraz superpuchar kraju, a także tytuł króla strzelców. Łukasz Gikiewicz bez wątpienia może czuć się spełniony w Jordanii. Nic więc dziwnego, że po półtorarocznej przygodzie postanowił zmienić zespół.

"Spędziłem tutaj jeden z najpiękniejszych okresów w moim życiu. Przez ostatnie 1,5 roku wygrałem wszystko, co można wygrać, zarówno dla zespołu, jak i indywidualnie. Chciałbym podziękować wszystkim osobom zaangażowanym w ten wspaniały klub" - napisał na swoim Instagramie polski napastnik Al-Faisaly.

It is the time to write something on the end . I have spent here one of the most wonderful and beautiful time in my life for last 1.5 year . I have won everything what could be won for a team and individualy . I would like to say thank you to all people involved in this great club , especially and Sultan Majed Al-odwan , Samer Al-hourani . I'm grateful to the coach Nebojsa for making me better player and person , thanks to the people I met everyday on the streets who were giving me a lot of energy and were keeping smile on my face . Also thanks to the players i shared pitch with . It’s hard to deal with me and you have been doing this for last 1.5 year . I want to thank you for every 90 minutes , for every second in the dressing room - you will always be in my heart - one big blue family . For the end I would like to say thanks to real faisaly supporters for trusting me since the 1st minute I wore blue shirt . Not every football player can experience the feeling when the whole stadium shouts your name despite the fact I am foreigner . I will not forgot this moments till the end of my life . We have won matches and trophies and we have also lost some - that’s football . Both teams want to win but only one team can be the winner . THANK YOU

Nie wiadomo jeszcze gdzie przeniesie się 30-latek. Niewykluczone jednak, że będzie to również kierunek "egzotyczny", bowiem niedawno media arabskie łączyły jego nazwisko z drużynami egipskimi.
