Argentyńskie mistrzostwa - sezon 1986/1987: Cz. 2 - Zwycięstwo Johna Davisa w debiucie. Castagna liderem

Dopiero w czwartej rundzie mistrzostw Argentyny wystartował John Davis. W debiutanckim starcie okazał się on bezkonkurencyjny. Po sześciu odsłonach mistrzostw na czele klasyfikacji znajdował się Włoch Armando Castagna.

W czwartej rundzie zmagań o tytuł Międzynarodowego Indywidualnego Mistrza Argentyny zadebiutował Anglik John Davis. Zawodnik w Wysp zwyciężył we wszystkich swoich biegach i zapisał na swoim koncie aż dwadzieścia punktów. Drugą pozycję w finale zajął Włoch Armando Castagna, a trzecią Niemiec Gerd Riss.
