To był zabójczy finisz. W dwóch ostatnich spotkaniach sezonu Harry Kane zdobył siedem bramek i dołożył do nich jedną asystę, dzięki temu rzutem na taśmę wygrał klasyfikację kanadyjską Premier League!

Tottenham zdemolował najpierw Leicester City (6:1), a potem Hull City (7:1) i reprezentant Anglii wywalczył w tych pojedynkach aż osiem punktów. Alexis Sanchez też poprawił swój dorobek, jednak trzy oczka okazały się zbyt małą zdobyczą, by nie dać się wyprzedzić. Ostatecznie Chilijczyk poległ o włos.

Kolejne lokaty zajęli Romelu Lukaku i Diego Costa, lecz końcówka w ich wykonaniu aż tak spektakularna nie była.

Najlepszym asystentem został bezdyskusyjnie Kevin De Bruyne. Belg wypracował aż 19 goli, ale nie zdołał pobić rekordu Thierry'ego Henry'ego, który w edycji 2002/2003 uzbierał 20 asyst. Zabrakło mu do tego zaledwie jednego ostatniego podania.
