Niedziela w Premier League: Zwycięstwa Tygrysów, Monarchów i Diamentów, 5+2 Rafała Konopki

W niedzielę na Wyspach Brytyjskich rozegrano trzy spotkania Premier League. Zwycięstwa w nich odniosły drużyny Glasgow Tigers, Edinburgh Monarchs i Newcastle Diamonds.

Glasgow Tigers rozgromiło na własnym torze ekipę Redcar Bears 62:28. Liderem gospodarzy był Aaron Summers, który na swoim koncie zapisał 16 punktów i bonus. W zespole z Middlesbrough najlepszy był gościnnie występujący Arthur Sissis. Zdobył on 9 "oczek" i bonus.

Domowej porażki (41:49) z Edinburgh Monarchs doznała drużyna Peterborough Panthers. Monarchów do triumfu poprowadzili Justin Sedgmen i Craig Cook. Obaj na torze pojawili się po sześć razy i zdobyli po 15 punktów. Wśród Panter liderem był Emil Grondal - 11+1. 5 punktów i dwa bonusy dla gospodarzy zdobył Rafał Konopka.

Newcastle Diamonds pokonało Workington Comets 53:39. Diamenty triumf mogą zawdzięczać znakomitej postawie gościnnie startującego w ich barwach Richie Worralla. Brytyjczyk zdobył komplet 12 punktów. Kometom nie pomogła rewelacyjna jazda Ricky'ego Wellsa. Amerykanin wywalczył 17 "oczek".
