Po dublecie w meczu z Liverpoolem Jamie Vardy został samodzielnym liderem klasyfikacji kanadyjskiej Premier League. Tuż za jego plecami plasuje się klubowy kolega, Riyad Mahrez.

We wtorek reprezentant Anglii dorzucił do swojego dorobku dwa punkty i w sumie ma już 22 - o jeden więcej niż Algierczyk, który asystował przy pierwszej z jego bramek.

Więcej zmian w ścisłej czołówce nie ma, bo Romelu Lukaku, Odion Ighalo i Mesut Oezil tym razem nie błyszczeli.

Dużo lepiej poszło Harry'emu Kane'owi i Rossowi Barkleyowi. Napastnik Tottenhamu w meczu z Norwich City (3:0) zdobył dwa gole. Podobnego wyczynu dokonał pomocnik Evertonu, choć w jego przypadku oba trafienia padły z rzutów karnych. W czołowej dziesiątce swój wynik poprawił też Sergio Aguero - autor zwycięskiej bramki dla Manchesteru City w wyjazdowej potyczce z Sunderlandem (1:0).

W klasyfikacji asystentów nadal bezdyskusyjnie lideruje Oezil. 9., ostatnie podanie zanotował w minionej kolejce Mahrez, zaś 8. - Christian Eriksen.
