Niedziela w Premier League: Zwycięstwa Tygrysów i Diamentów
W niedzielę na Wyspach Brytyjskich rozegrano dwa pojedynki z udziałem drużyn Premier League. Zwycięstwa w nich odniosły drużyny Glasgow Tigers i Newcastle Diamonds.
W rewanżowym meczu pierwszej fazy Premier League Knock Out Cup ekipa Glasgow Tigers pokonała na własnym torze drużynę Rye House Rockets 52:38. Zwycięstwo to nie dało jednak Tygrysom awansu do kolejnej rundy, bowiem w pierwszym spotkaniu przegrali oni z Rakietami 26:63. Liderem gospodarzy był James Wright, który na swoim koncie zapisał 11 punktów. Z kolei najlepszymi żużlowcami gości byli Jason Garrity i Tyson Nelson. Obaj wywalczyli po 10 "oczek"
Z kolei w Newcastle rozegrano pojedynek Pucharu Ligi Premier League. Miejscowe Diamenty pokonały w nim zespół Workington Comets 53:40. Najlepszym jeźdźcem zwycięskiej drużyny był Richie Worrall, który mecz zakończył z dorobkiem 16 punktów. Liderem gości był Rene Bach. Duńczyk zdobył 12 punktów.
