Znamy pełny terminarz SGB Premiership. Będzie więcej spotkań pucharowych

"Mecze w piątki to słuszne i dobre rozwiązanie". Prezes Włókniarza popiera zmiany w terminarzu

W najbliższym sezonie zabraknie niestety rywalizacji o Tarczę Dobroczynności, czyli odpowiednika superpucharu. Dwumecz ten co roku inaugurował sezon żużlowy w Wielkiej Brytanii.

Dojdzie z kolei do zmian w rozgrywkach pucharowych, tym razem Premiership Knock Out Cup zastąpi Premiership Supporters Cup. W zmaganiach tych ekipy nie będą rywalizowały tylko i wyłącznie w systemie knock-out. Ekipy Premiership zostały podzielone na dwie grupy, gdzie dojdzie do spotkań w systemie "każdy z każdym". Dwie najlepsze ekipy poszczególnych grup uzyskają awans do półfinału, z kolei zwycięzcy potyczek 1/2 finału powalczą o zwycięstwo w pojedynku finałowym.

Nie zabraknie też terminów, w których będzie dostatek żużlowych pojedynków. Lany Poniedziałek (22 kwietnia) czy ostatni poniedziałek maja (27 maja) są zaliczane do tzw. "bank holiday", czyli dni wolnych od pracy. Oznacza to, że dojdzie wtedy do większej liczby spotkań (zazwyczaj odbywa się jedno lub dwa spotkania, w tym przypadku dojdzie do czterech lub pięciu starć - dod. aut.).
